IRRI-6 Long Grain Rice is a widely cultivated, high-yielding, non-aromatic long-grain white rice variety, primarily exported from Pakistan to Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Renowned for being cost-effective, it has a slender, non-sticky texture when cooked, making it ideal for daily meals, bulk food services, and catering.
Origin: Developed with input from the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), it is heavily cultivated in the Sindh and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.
Grain Structure: Long, slender, white, or creamy-white kernels, generally 6.00–6.4 mm in length.
